We are excited to announce that Eero Laaksovirta, our former trainee, has returned to I&O Partners, this time as an Associate. Eero has graduated from the University of Helsinki earlier this year and has gained valuable work experience from another prominent Finnish law firm where his tasks focused around M&A as well as from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.

Eero’s words after his first day at I&O Partners:

“My internship at I&O Partners back in 2020 was my first job in the industry, so as a recent graduate it only felt natural to continue at I&O. Nice to be back!

At I&O, I will not only continue working with previously familiar practices, but also expand my knowledge into other areas of corporate law. Today, my first day on the job, I’ve had the chance to say hello to former colleagues, meet new ones and hear about their different specializations. I’m looking forward to the varied tasks ahead as well as all the shared moments along the way – it already feels like a great team to be a part of!”
